Description |
Rhizome erect or very shortly creeping, c. 1 mm in diameter; rhizome scales up to 1 mm long, pale brown, hairlike. Fronds tufted, membranous, pinnatifid almost to the midrib. Stipes c. 1 mm long, dark brown, with pale brown to patent hairs c. 1.0 mm long. Laminae c. 8 x 1.2 cm, linear-oblong in outline, long tapering at base, deeply pinnatifid into oblong, entire, rounded to acute lobes, up to 7 mm long, thinly set with soft pale hairs up to 1 mm long. Sori up to 7 per lobe; sporangia sometimes covered with stout rigid bristles.. |
